This is a super family pub situated in the heart of Looe, they provide very tasty and reasonably priced meals during the day and up to 9 in the evening. The staff are very friendly and always on hand to tend to individual needs. Upstairs they also have several b&b rooms which are kept clean and tidy,

The pub is very large with a separate family room, pool table, a separate wooden area which is raised and aptly called the poop deck where you can see all the goings on out in the street. They show many live football games on their widescreen and have lots of entertainment in the evenings, including discos, karaoke and live bands.

This is a huge favourite of locals and visitors alike and I couldn't imagine not going there on my many nights out.

One of the oldest pubs in town .Mind your head  in places  . Very old at front bit more modern at rear . Typical range of beer from the national brand that owns the pub so not good but here actually reasonably well kept and just about drinkable . Also does food .

Large, decent St Austell pub. I preferred hanging out in the slightly raised area to the right as you go on, but there are a lot of places to sit, including a room partially cut off from the main bar which was sort of nice.

HSD (in good nick), Trelawny and Tribute were my choices. I snacked too, on a very tasty mushroom melt.

There were some nice pictures of boats but at the same time some massive adverts for upcoming sport!

I stayed in Looe for a few nights and this is one of the pubs that I visited. Well worth a visit, nice place and friendly too. Update Aug 2012  popped in again. Not my favourite pub in Looe but will still use it.

Traditional, unreformed pub food. Fun and tolerant family atmosphere but the food just did not rise to the occasion. But then, perhaps the fault of those in our party whom ventured beyond the traditional pub fare. Best for an ale and a light snack rather than dinner.
